In 2025, the BCCOS transitioned to an updated software system that allows for streamlined data reporting. This shift is reflected in the reporting outcomes of dispatched and euthanized, for increased transparency. 

Field Description
Calls received Human-wildlife conflict calls reported to the RAPP line.
Calls attended Human-wildlife conflict calls reported to the RAPP line that were attended by BCCOS conservation officers.
Dispatched by BCCOS Bears killed by BCCOS conservation officers for public safety reasons, such as a human-wildlife conflict.
Dispatched by Other Bears killed for public safety reasons by other entities.
Euthanized by BCCOS Bears killed by BCCOS conservation officers for welfare reasons, such as an animal critically injured by a vehicle.
Euthanized by Other Bears killed for welfare reasons by other entities.
Total Total number of bears dispatched and euthanized by BCCOS conservation officers and other entities, combined.
Translocated Bears moved to another area outside home range (captured, transported, and then released).
Hazed Bears on which non-lethal methods were used to deter them from an area, or discourage undesirable activity.
