The dashboard for the Local Government Climate Action Program (LGCAP) displays local government and Modern Treaty Nation climate initiatives as well as community-level greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Sharing public data on local climate action is important for promoting transparency, fostering collaboration among communities, and empowering citizens and policymakers to make informed decisions that drive meaningful progress in addressing climate change.
The dashboard displays dataset results for all local governments and Modern Treaty Nations in B.C., and can filter data based on specific municipalities, Modern Treaty Nations, regional districts, economic development regions, or by community size. Information on navigating the dashboard and definitions for terms used can be found within the dashboard on the Read Me tab.
To see estimates for your jurisdiction's community-level GHG emissions and energy consumption, view the Community Energy and Emissions Inventory.
