Indigenous Youth Intern

The Indigenous Youth Internship Program (previously Aboriginal Youth Internship Program) is a 12-month program to provide Indigenous youth with public service work and learning experience.

The program consists of a 9-month work experience in a provincial ministry, followed by 3 months in a selected Indigenous organization.

On completion of the internship program, the Indigenous youth leaders will have increased knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that could inspire further academic pursuits or may lead to further employment opportunities in the provincial government or in Indigenous organizations.
