Show your appreciation
Show your employees their hard work is appreciated:
- Send an email acknowledging someone for their work
- Handwrite a thank you card
- Give recognition during a team meeting or on your ministry intranet
- Organize a virtual or in person celebratory event for your team
- Consider ordering non-taxable awards through the Distribution Centre Victoria (DCV) protocol and recognition catalogue

Long Service Awards
Recognize employees who have reached significant milestone years of employment with the BC Public Service. Learn about the Long Service Awards and visit the website.
Registration opens each year in March and closes at the end of April.
Service Pin program
Launched in 2016 as a complement to the Long Service Awards, the corporate Service Pin program recognizes long service milestones in 5-year intervals.
Premier's Innovation and Excellence Awards

Public Service Week
