Family Law Act Pension Regulation
The Division of Pension Regulation is made under the Family Law Act.
The regulation sets out the requirements for dividing a pension under Part 6 of the Act, including:
- Forms a spouse must use
- Pension plan administrator duties in providing information to the member and spouse
- Formulas used to calculate a spouse’s share of the member’s pension
