Jul 5, 2016 - Gaming Policy & Enforcement Branch Website Changes

Last updated on July 5, 2016

The Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch website (www.gaming.gov.bc.ca) has been updated and integrated into the B.C. government's main website under the "Sports, Recreation, Arts & Culture" section with a new home page called Gambling & Fundraising. This shift is part of a government-wide initiative to make provincial web content more accessible and user-friendly.

The updated website has a new look and feel, but information about gambling in B.C., gaming grants, gambling event licences, gambling industry registration, and more is still available and it's presented in a similar format as it was previously.

Important Notes:

  1. Users of the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch website should update their bookmarks and links to point to the updated website pages located on the B.C. government website (see the Gambling & Fundraising home page at gov.bc.ca/gambling to get started)
  2. Users attempting to access the old website using www.gaming.gov.bc.ca will automatically be redirected to the related web pages on the updated website
  3. Gambling related information can be found in the new website structure under the "Sports, Recreation, Arts & Culture" section with a new home page called Gambling & Fundraising

If you have any questions or comments about these changes, please send an e-mail to Gaming.Branch@gov.bc.ca.
