There are both provincial and federal laws that pertain to the cannabis context.

Provincial:

  • Cannabis Control and Licensing Act (CCLA)
  • Cannabis Licensing Regulation
  • Cannabis Control Regulation
  • Cannabis Control and Licensing Transitional Regulation

Federal:

  • Cannabis Act
  • Cannabis Regulations

Community Safety Unit officers are authorized to issue violation tickets under the following regulation:

  • Violation Ticket Administration and Fines Regulation
