Thank you for your interest in the Bridal Veil Mountain Resort (BVMR) all-season resort proposal, near Chilliwack, BC.
The BVMR proposal is currently in the Expression of Interest (EOI) stage, which is the first stage of a major project review (see process flowchart here). This stage is conceptual with the goal of assessing project feasibility. Information about the BVMR EOI can be found here:
The EOI materials have been developed by the BVMR proponent and do not represent an endorsement from the Province of B.C.
More detailed information about the project is developed if it advances to the next stage of the major project review process outlined in the All-Seasons Resort Policy.
Public engagement is a key part of the review process. At this Expression of Interest stage, the Mountain Resorts Branch collects public input for consideration in understanding public interests in the proposal area as well as aspects to consider in the major project review process.
Public comments can be provided through an online questionnaire located at
govTogetherBC.
The public comment period is open until February 28, 2025.
Expressions of Interest from other parties who may have an interest in developing an all-seasons resort in the area can be submitted during the public comment period. Inquiries on submitting an expression of interest should be directed to the Mountain Resorts Branch.
Visit the Applying to develop a resort section of the Mountain Resort Branch website for contact information and more details about this process.
