Geoscience Needs for Geothermal Energy Development in Western Canada: Findings and Recommendations by Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources and Geological Survey of Canada

The goal of the workshop was to assess the geothermal geoscience needs of western Canada and the appropriate role of government geological science agencies in supporting geothermal energy exploration and development. The focus was on using moderate- to high-temperature geotherma systems for direct heat or electricity generation.
