How the council was formed

The Mass Timber Advisory Council (MTAC) was formed to provide strategic feedback and advice on B.C.’s cross-government and cross-sectoral Mass Timber Action Plan.

MTAC members come from First Nations leadership, local government, engineering, architecture, development, research, and forest product manufacturing.  They use their considerable experience and knowledge to identify the opportunities and challenges to the development and expansion of mass timber.
