2025 AgriStability Enhancement Program

British Columbia together with our federal, provincial, and territorial partners have announced a coverage increase to AgriStability for 2025 in response to the many challenges BC farms are facing. Natural disasters, market disruptions, and increasing costs are affecting the profitability of farms. These changes are designed to provide stronger financial support to farmers and faster access to funds when you need them most.

2025 AgriStability Enhancement Program Breakdown

For the 2025 Program year, the following enhancements have been made to AgriStability: 

• Compensation rate increased from 80% to 90%
• Maximum payment limit doubled from $3 million to $6 million
• Advance (interim) payment rate increased from 50% to 75%

The enrolment deadline for 2025 was extended to July 31, 2025 (from April 30, 2025).

Who benefits from the 2025 AgriStability Enhancement?

All clients enrolled in AgriStability’s 2025 program year will benefit from the increased compensation rate and increased compensation limit.
