Building permits are important to ensure your project is safe, legal and compliant. Here’s a guide on how to apply for a building permit with your local government or First Nation through the Building Permit Hub.
Before starting your application, you need to understand your area’s zoning and land use bylaws. Some municipalities offer pre-application consultations to guide you through your specific project.
