The Province's multiculturalism and anti-racism program empowers communities and organizations to maintain partnerships and develop projects to promote multiculturalism, address racism and build inclusive communities.
The Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Awards honour individuals, organizations and youth whose work actively promotes multiculturalism and addresses racism.

The third week in November is proclaimed as Multiculturalism Week in B.C. It’s a time to celebrate the contributions of our multicultural communities and appreciate the way diversity enriches the province.
The Multicultural Advisory Council is a legislated body created to provide advice to the Minister on issues related to multiculturalism and anti-racism.
The report makes sure public services, programs and initiatives are culturally sensitive, relevant and accessible.
