B.C. Indigenous Business Awards

The B.C. Indigenous Business Awards is an annual awards program that recognizes outstanding Indigenous business accomplishments. This event is the premiere recognition event for Indigenous businesses in B.C. It is an exciting celebration of Indigenous entrepreneurs from across the Province.

Annual Awards

Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs under 30 who have been operating a business for at least two years.

Community-Owned Business of the Year: Recognizes an entirely community-owned business’s outstanding contribution to building their community’s economic foundation.

Business of the Year: Recognizes excellence in Indigenous-owned and operated businesses. This award has three categories.

  • One to two person enterprise
  • Three to ten person enterprise
  • Enterprise of ten or more people

Joint Venture of the Year: Recognizes outstanding joint ventures that contribute to the economic well-being of their area, increase employment and training opportunities for Indigenous people and businesses, and show their commitment to their community.
