Established in 2008, the provincial government, with advice and support from the Multicultural Advisory Council, organizes the annual B.C. Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Awards to honour and celebrate individuals and organizations in B.C. for excellence in promoting multiculturalism and addressing racism.

Approximately 50 individuals and organizations have received awards to date. Check out past recipients whose outstanding work has strengthened inclusion and cultural diversity in their communities:
