Wildlife Policy

Policies and procedures guide Ministry staff in carrying out their duties. Policies describe general principles relevant to a duty, while procedures detail recommended steps to carry out the duty.

Unlike laws, policies and procedures are not binding. While Ministry staff are typically guided by policy and procedure, they may choose not follow policy and procedure if appropriate to best carry out their duty.
