Regulated operations or project partners can discuss a potential emissions reduction project or study by:

• Filling out a Project Concept Form (DOCX, 49.1KB)
• Requesting a meeting with the Program Advisor by email and attaching the form

Previous funding streams

Innovation Accelerator (IA)

Closed: September 24, 2025

The IA funding call enhanced clean technology innovation and industrial decarbonization. It supported projects at B.C. industrial facilities. These projects had to trial, pilot, or demonstrate novel clean technology.

Feasibility Studies (FS)

Closed: September 21, 2025

The FS funding call supported early engineering studies. These studies focused on industrial emissions reductions projects. They refined the operational, technical, and/or economic viability of a project.​

CleanBC and BC Hydro Industrial Electrification Program (IE)

Closed: December 2024

CIF and BC Hydro together administered the IE funding call. It offered a streamlined funding process for large industrial low-carbon electrification projects. These connected to the BC Hydro Integrated Grid and got new or upgraded connections

Emissions Performance (EP)

Closed: May 2024

The EP funding call supported projects that reduce emissions at an industrial operation. The projects did this using commercially available technologies.
