Each legal name searched requires authorization from the business or a representative of the business, signed and dated within 3 months of the date you submit the request.
You must get written authorization from the employer's business granting you permission to request a search.
If you're searching for multiple business names, you must have authorization from each business to be searched.
You must pay a $35 non-refundable search fee for each legal name searched. For example, you would pay a fee of $70 to search two legal names.
You can submit multiple search requests. You will receive a separate result for each legal name searched.
You can pay online by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). Debit cards (such as Interac or Visa Debit) cannot be used to pay the search fee.

​Form sessions expire after 15-30 minutes of inactivity depending on your network. Submit your request as soon as you're done, or you could lose the information you entered on the form. Watch for a confirmation email after you submit.
