Security licence reconsideration

We've reorganized and simplified content about security industry licensing. Things may look different, but policies and processes haven't changed.

You can ask SPD to reconsider a decision to deny, suspend, cancel or apply conditions to your licence.

Eligibility

You must ask for reconsideration:

In writing
Within 30 days of getting the decision

SPD may extend the deadline for special circumstances.

Instructions

Email or send a letter to SPD. Explain why SPD should reconsider the decision.

Outcomes

SPD may confirm, change or cancel the original decision. They'll send a letter explaining why.
