New award programs and flexible teacher education options expand opportunities to learn and work in rural and remote communities. These efforts reduce barriers and support B.C.'s rural and remote K-12 workforce (PDF, 8.6MB). They also strengthen recruitment and help build a sustainable future for our schools.
The Provincial Teacher Mentorship Pilot Program website is now live and mentorship activities are beginning in 5 pilot school districts. While the pilot phase is centred on 5 public school districts, resources are being made available online for educators throughout the province.
