
As part of the K-12 Workforce Plan, the Province has introduced a range of initiatives that are already making a positive impact in the education sector. Keep reading to discover how these efforts are strengthening B.C.’s K-12 workforce.

The Provincial Teacher Mentorship Pilot Program website is now live and mentorship activities are beginning in 5 pilot school districts. While the pilot phase is centred on 5 public school districts, resources are being made available online for educators throughout the province.

The Education Assistant (EA) Competency Framework (PDF, 603KB) is an optional resource that outlines key knowledge and skills to promote consistency and ensure EAs are job-ready to support B.C. classrooms.
