Merit commissioner annual reports

As of June 30, 2026, responsibility for staffing reviews has transitioned from the Office of the Merit Commissioner to the Deputy Minister, Head of the BC Public Service Agency in their capacity as Merit Commissioner.

The Merit Commissioner conducts reviews of staffing actions in the BC Public Service, which informs annual public reporting. Until June 2026, annual reports were completed by the Office of the Merit Commissioner. The next annual report will be provided by the BC Public Service Agency in 2027.
