Executive lead (non-OIC)

Last updated on June 21, 2024

Executive leads are not OIC appointments. Executive lead positions are typically 2-year term appointments. An executive lead appointment is made by direct appointment under the Public Service Act by the deputy minister of the BC Public Service Agency. Executive lead is not an equivalent to an ADM.

Changes to executive salaries (deputy minister, associate deputy ministry, assistant deputy minister, or senior executive) are to be processed only by specifically designated BC Public Service Agency staff.

Please see the Management Compensation and Classification Framework (PDF, 423KB) for alternate classifications for excluded positions that don't meet the criteria above.
