Youth Employment Program

The Youth Employment Program (YEP) employs students in the public service.

YEP Level 1 students have enrolled in full-time studies at an accredited educational institution within the past 6 months at Grade 12 or below.

YEP Level 2 students have enrolled in full-time studies at an accredited educational institution within the past 6 months at a post-secondary level.

Work assignments are of a special project nature where the duties are temporary, time limited and distinct from the day to day duties of a regular classified position. YEP hires cannot exceed a 4-month term.
