E-Referral

E-Referral is an online tool that automates the distribution and management of the referral processes.

Referrals are sent to existing tenure holders, government agencies, and invited members of the public to solicit input on proposed natural resource authorizations or projects. For certain authorizations, it is a legal requirement to notify affected groups or individuals of the proposed authorization. E-Referral facilitates this process.

E-Referral is an automated referral system that improves client service by streamlining business processes. It is part of the Province’s One Process initiative to improve and streamline authorization processing.

If you have been invited to respond to a referral request but have lost the link, refer to the following:

• Responding using BCeID or IDIR credentials, log in to the E-Referral system
• Responding as a 'Guest', contact the FrontCounter BC office nearest you and request an invitation be re-sent to you
