Coalfields of the Bowser Basin (1:1,000,000) (PDF, 3.2MB)

A 200 square kilometre area of Tertiary rocks contains a single coal zone with cumulative coal thickness that varies from 10 to 30 metres. The area is isolated and has not been considered for development, but it does contain a resource of over 400 million tonnes of high-volatile B bituminous coal.
