Vegetation Resource Inventory Audits
Inventory Audit Analysis
Following the completion of a photo-estimated inventory project, vegetation resource inventory (VRI) audit samples will be established in the vegetated treed portion of the landbase to verify the accuracy of this new spatial inventory. This sample data may also be used to adjust some of the spatial inventory attributes.
VRI audit samples may be randomly established in TSAs, TFLs, or other strata of interest. As an example, for a given TSA, the vegetated-treed, the Timber Harvest Land Base (THLB) or mature spruce portion may be sampled.
