The Western Canadian Animal Health Network (WeCAHN) is the animal health surveillance and intelligence network in western Canada, detecting and sharing animal disease trends and best practices.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is the agency that oversees federal government programs and services to mitigate risks associated with animal diseases and to protect the health of Canada's animal resources.
