Education: Chen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of British Columbia in 2016, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology prior to his pharmacy education. Chen then completed his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at the University of Alberta in 2018.
Work experience: Prior to joining BC PAD, Chen served as a Critical Care pharmacist for the Abbotsford Regional Hospital ICU/HAU for 5 years. During his 5 years of acute-care hospital experience, Chen has also gained valuable experience working with the Emergency, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Psychiatry teams.
Other: In his leisure time, Chen enjoys golfing, working out (running and high-intensity-interval training), and reading. Chen is gaining interest in travelling and welcomes any recommendations for his next trip!
