HAMIS Upgrade
Last updated on May 31, 2022The Ministry of Health has been working on a major upgrade to the HAMIS user interface. The following provides some details about this change.
About the upgrade
- Rationale: HAMIS was upgraded both to replace outdated software and to provide an easier to use interface.
- Data migration: All of the relevant information from the old application will be copied to the new application including all of the data in HAMIS, the BC Chart of Accounts and all of your mapping files as of the cutover date.
- Retiring “old” HAMIS: When the new HAMIS application goes live, access to the old application will no longer be available.
Information about the changes
Information Video: The following video provides a demonstration of the newly upgraded HAMIS application and how it works will l be open to all customers.
User interface document: The following document provides an overview of the new user interface, focusing on the data submission screens. All of the reports found in the old application will also be found in the upgraded application.
