Business BCeID

A Business BCeID account is used to log in to services online when representing a business or organization. A business may have one-to-many user accounts that can access services on their behalf. People use a username and password.

Overview:

• Approximately 250 thousand people have set up accounts and over 70 services use this ID service (as of Nov 2022)
• It's recommended by the OCIO
• You can get information about the business and a name for the person 
• You can be confident in the business information but low confidence the person is who they say they are
• You can use for people representing a business

Who it works for and what they need

People who use your service must: 

• Be an authorized representative of an organization or legal entity 

They must have: 

• Documentation to prove the business or organization's identity 
• An email address
