What does it mean for me?

You, or someone close to you, may be affected by dementia now or in the future. Changes to memory, behaviour and functional abilities can profoundly affect the lives of people with dementia and their relationships with family and friends. Understanding the impact of dementia and how to care for yourself, or those within your care, are keys to living well with dementia.

Information and services are provided by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with health care providers, health authorities and the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia. More information is available at the links below or by contacting the health authority in your region.
