In the evening of May 26th the release was stopped. The Comox Valley Regional District is continuing to respond to the incident.

On May 26th, the Ministry of Environment and Parks (ENV) received a report of a release of sewage near the town of Comox, B.C.

An ENV Response Officer has been dispatched to site today. ENV will continue to monitor the incident.
