NRC IRAP Clean Technology Program

Description

The National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) - Clean Technology program provides advice, connections and funding to Canadian small and medium-sized businesses that are developing, demonstrating and commercializing new and innovative clean technologies. The program helps foster collaborations and accelerate technology advancements that have the potential to provide greater environmental benefits for Canada and improve our economic prosperity.

NRC IRAP provides support to Canadian clean technology businesses:

• Trusted advisors who offer technical and business advice, referrals and other guidance
• Canadian cleantech innovation ecosystem partners
• Funding to advance promising clean technologies towards commercialization:
  • Start-up funding for technologies that have been proven at a small scale
  • Scale-up funding for advanced, high-growth companies
