Northern Development Internship Program

Description 

Northern Development Initiative Trust's (NDIT) Internship Program provides a high level of professional development and hands-on training that help prepare recent graduates with the skills, experience and connections they need to propel their career forward. This funding assists with the cost of hosting an intern for a 12-month period.

Eligibility requirements

Eligible organizations include:

• Registered First Nations governments
• Local governments

Applicants must be located within NDIT's service region.

Northern Development Initiative Trust (NDIT) is an independent regionally-operated economic development funding corporation for central and northern British Columbia. NDIT identifies and pursues opportunities for stimulating economic growth and job creation within the region. NDIT administers this program through funding from the Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation.
