The Community Workforce Response Grant (CWRG) provides flexible, rapid-response funding to address urgent labour market needs in B.C. communities. CWRG supports cohort-based skills training for unemployed and underemployed individuals. The goal is to help participants gain the skills and certifications needed for sustainable employment, strengthening local economies.
Eligible projects must address workforce shortages or emerging labour market needs through short-term occupational skills training (52 weeks or less). Training must be delivered by a qualified third-party provider and can receive up to $300,000 in funding.
