Columbia Basin Trust Early Childhood Educator Training Wage Program

Last updated on June 3, 2025

Description

Columbia Basin Trust's Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Training Wage Program supports the development of a strong, qualified early childhood education workforce in the Columbia Basin. The program provides a training wage subsidy to eligible Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) and ECE Assistants (ECEAs) employed by licensed child care facilities, enabling them to complete or upgrade their ECE qualifications. This initiative helps address workforce shortages and supports the professional growth of those caring for young children in the region.

Eligibility requirements

Licensed non-profit and for-profit child care providers in the Columbia Basin region may apply on behalf of eligible employees. Eligible facilities must be licensed under specific designations.
