Canadian Agricultural Strategic Priorities Program
Description
The Canadian Agricultural Strategic Priorities Program (CASPP) supports the Canadian agricultural sector’s participation in the Government of Canada’s growth and policy objectives, by investing in the sector’s design, development and implementation of tools and strategies to respond to and seize opportunities created by these objectives.
In order to be eligible for funding, applicants must clearly demonstrate the issue that is facing the Canadian agriculture, agri-food and agri-products sector, how the project results will benefit the sector, and how the project aligns with one or more of these priority areas:

Adaptation to new technology

Environmental sustainability

Strategic planning and capacity building

Emerging issues

If approved, support is available in the form of non-repayable contributions.
Special Requirements
Not-for profit organizations that are incorporated in Canada are eligible, including:
- Not-for profit organizations and associations
- Cooperatives
- Marketing boards
- Indigenous groups
