The Canadian Agricultural Strategic Priorities Program (CASPP) supports the Canadian agricultural sector’s participation in the Government of Canada’s growth and policy objectives, by investing in the design, development and implementation of tools and strategies to respond to and seize opportunities.

Program priority areas include:

  • Environmental sustainability
  • Strategic development and capacity building
  • Emerging issues

Not-for profit organizations that are incorporated in Canada are eligible, including:

  • Associations
  • Cooperatives
  • Marketing boards
  • Indigenous Peoples
  • Provincial, territorial or municipal government
