Accessible Education and Training

Last updated on May 7, 2026

Accessible Education and Training (AET) programs offered at B.C. public post-secondary institutions are available to students who face barriers to learning and/or employment and who require diverse supports to reach their goals.

AET programs focus on developing employability and self-advocacy skills while also creating access to post-secondary education. Most programs have a work experience component, allowing students to find a sense of purpose while optimizing their personal strengths.

Check with your institution to learn about admission requirements, funding and other supports.
