The fuel tax refund program for persons with disabilities can help reduce your transportation costs.
To be eligible for the program, you must:

You must provide your driver’s licence number when you register. If you don’t have a valid driver’s licence, provide a copy of other government-issued ID that confirms your date of birth and legal name.
Vehicle ownership declaration
If you’re not the registered owner or lessee but have an ownership interest in the vehicle, you must provide a completed Appendix 3 - Vehicle Ownership Declaration. Your vehicle may be jointly owned but can't be registered to an incorporated association, company or society. If the vehicle registration expires, you can continue to apply for the fuel tax refund, but only for the time when your vehicle registration was valid.
Power of attorney or representation agreement
If you're registering and signing on behalf of another person who is 19 or older, you must provide a copy of a power of attorney or a representation agreement with the registration documents.
