Apr 24 2024 18:30 New Wireless Peace River Regional District Wildfire Pine River Wildfire BC EMERGENCY ALERT issued by Peace River Regional District due to wildfire. Evacuate immediately if you are in the following area: directly west of Bisset Creek, south to the Pine River, East to Wildmare Creek. Inclusive of all properties on the north side of the highway. The Wildmare Creek wildfire poses a threat to human life. If you are in this area evacuate immediately. For Emergency Support Services go to the Chetwynd Municipal Office at 5400 Hospital Road. April 25 2024 11:17 Update Wireless Peace River Regional District Wildfire Pine River Wildfire BC EMERGENCY ALERT UPDATE: The Evacuation Order issued by Peace River Regional District due to the Wildmare Creek wildfire has been DOWNGRADED to an Evacuation Alert. Area under Evacuation Alert: the area directly west of Bisset Creek, south to the Pine River, East to the Wildmare Creek, inclusive of all properties on the north side of the highway.
