Pablo is responsible for validating and standardizing drillhole data from mineral assessment reports.

Expertise

With a background in sedimentary geology and previous experience in the petroleum industry, he has worked on projects around the world analyzing and integrating geological and geophysical data. For his Ph.D., Pablo studied the phosphate geochemistry, mineralogy, and sedimentology of the Doig Formation (Triassic) in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin of British Columbia and Alberta. Throughout his career, he has applied scripting to compile and validate large datasets, automate processes, and integrate a range of maps and data types into GIS databases. Pablo joined the BCGS in February 2024.
