The six treatments were:
  • Complete aspen removal – manual 
  • Complete aspen removal – glyphosate (Vision®)
  • -m radius of aspen removal – manual 
  • m radius of aspen removal – triclopyr ester (Release®)
  • Aspen spacing (3.0 x 3.0 m)  – 7 years after planting
  • Untreated control
