Stumpage Voluntary Disclosure
If you discover you have incorrectly or inaccurately reported your stumpage, you may make a voluntary disclosure to correct your mistake.
When you make a voluntary disclosure, you won’t be subject to penalties or prosecution if you:
- start the voluntary disclosure,
- report all incorrect, inaccurate or unreported information about your stumpage,
- provide enough details to verify the facts, and
- make full payment of the amount due, including interest. In some cases, you may be able to set up a payment plan.
However, if you are aware that you are or will be investigated or audited, your voluntary disclosure will not be considered.
