Provincial Employees Community Services Fund
PECSF, (or, the Community Fund) is the Province of British Columbia’s unique, employee-driven corporate workplace giving program. Started by a group of caring, community-minded BC public servants in 1965, it has since raised over $45 million!
PECSF is governed by a board of directors and is the only program eligible to canvass BC Public Service employees.
The fall awareness campaign and pledge drive takes place annually between September and November. During this time, over 1,000 public servants volunteer and coordinate fun workplace events and activities to raise awareness and make it easy for employees to donate to their favourite charity!
PECSF received an Honourable Mention in the 2016 PR Daily Corporate Social Responsibility Awards and was a winner at the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ National Philanthropy Day Awards. Learn more about why PECSF is being recognized!
