Make a payment for stumpage and export fees

Last updated on April 9, 2024

Your stumpage and export fees are included on your Billing Notice, which is issued after your invoice is sent. Your balance is due and payable immediately. If your payment isn't received in full, your account will become overdue.

Note: Export fees that relate to the interior zone of the province are not included on Billing Notices.

You can pay your balance due:

Credit card payments aren't accepted.

When you make a payment, ensure you clearly identify where you want the funds applied so we can easily process your payment.

If you have questions about adjustments or credits to your account, contact us.

You can also pay any amount owing as the result of a forest revenue audit by these methods.

Online using eTaxBC

To pay online you must enrol for access to your stumpage or export fees account. You need to enrol for a separate eTaxBC account for your stumpage or export fees even if you already have an eTaxBC account for taxes you pay (e.g. PST).

To enrol, you’ll need the following information:

  • Your account type is "Non Tax Programs"
  • Your reference number (you can't use your business number when you enrol for a non-tax account)
  • Your account number (e.g. CLM-XXXX-XXXX)
  • The balance owing from your most recent Statement of Account (SOFA) and the Letter ID for this SOFA (found on the top right of the statement)

You can find your reference number and your account number on the bottom part of your Statement of Account.

Once you have an account, you can logon to eTaxBC to pay.
