About eTaxBC

eTaxBC is a free and secure 24/7 online B.C. government application that gives you access to a variety of convenient online services for several provincial taxes and fees.

You or your accountant or bookkeeper can use eTaxBC to:

  • File returns

  • Make payments for taxes or other fees

  • Access and update your account information and history

  • Correspond with ministry staff

Find out what account types are available in eTaxBC  and how to enrol for access to eTaxBC. You must have an existing registered account with the ministry to enrol.

All payments and returns submitted through eTaxBC must be made in Canadian dollars.

Browser requirements

Use one of the following browser versions for eTaxBC to run smoothly:

  • Internet Explorer 11+
  • Chrome
  • Firefox 3.5+
  • Safari 5+
  • Opera 11+
  • Microsoft Edge 10+

eTaxBC uses pop-up boxes to provide additional information. For the pop-ups to appear, disable pop-up blockers in your browser or add the eTaxBC website to the list of allowed sites in your browser privacy settings.
