Web standards for the B.C. government
Web content created for the B.C. government must follow these guidelines:
- Web Standards and Guides
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level AA
- Reading level of content, which must meet WCAG Level AAA.
Understanding WCAG can be difficult. You can find simplified information from the official source in the Simplified WCAG.
Web authority
Government Digital Experience (GDX) sets the standard for web content with the authority described in Core Policies and Procedures Manual (CPPM) Chapter 22.
