In addition to Performance Coaching Services, the BC Public Service also offers career advisory services through Homewood Health in a variety of areas. These services include
Career development services
Helps you identify career skills, aptitudes, values, personality traits and interests. A professional, non-government career specialist uses online assessments and one-on-one telephone consultations to provide short-term guidance on general career development.
Workplace issue counselling
Learn constructive methods for approaching and resolving difficult workplace situations. Includes an initial assessment, a one-on-one telephone consultation with a workplace dynamics counsellor and personalized resource materials. It is completely confidential.
Planning for retirement
Addresses emotional and social concerns about retirement. Includes an initial assessment, a telephone consultation with a specialist, a resource kit and a variety of personalized information.
