Volunteer organizations
Volunteer organizations are covered by the CRRA if:
- The organization is provincially funded, licensed or contracted
- The organization has volunteers that work with children under 19 or vulnerable adults. Volunteers can't have any monetary compensation, including gift cards

Criminal record checks can be completed by an applicant's local police or RCMP detachment.
