The purpose of  land based investment is to guide both ongoing resource investments and short-term targeted investments in British Columbia’s natural resources in a way that realizes environmental sustainability and economic prosperity. Goals are to strategically direct funding among a broad range of potential investment options;  manage natural resources in a way that maintains and enhances value; mitigate economic, social and environmental disturbance; contribute to the achievement of economic, social and environmental objectives of government.
